Apps for Good

This project running in London seems a fairly easy one to convert to the classroom (albeit on a slightly smaller scale). Basically students think of real problems then try to design and make mobile phone apps to start to address the problem (raising  awareness, providing information). Could this be done (maybe) using Scratch to design the App? (has anyone actually run Scratch in a web browser on a phone?).

Of course you could use the online Android environment and run them on the emulator – but the really good part of this project (IMHO) is the REAL evaluation with customers and actually making the project – moving from realistic to real.
