Better late than never

OK, Safer Internet day was yesterday … I was busy with a group of School subject leaders getting very cold in a scout hut in Potterne but that is another story ….

I guess that the wealth of safety support material helped with making a suitable ‘assembly’ at least?

If you are running ‘Parents Information Evenings’ then you’ll know that they are often keen to know what they can do, in practice, to help secure their Childs ‘browsing’ at home.

Here is a site that lists 10 tools for safer browsing and also has links to a range of free antivirus tools.

In addition I’d also recommend Hoax Slayer and Snopes. although remember that these are not ‘official’ and are run by individuals with points of view and biases (just like us all).
