How to Make Lasagna Instead of Spaghetti

A Level students often have to create complex diagrams showing data flows, this little clip explains some of the principles of how to take a data flow that looks like spaghetti and turn it into well ordered lasagne.

The other thing that struck me when I saw this was how essential the needs of Audience and Purpose stand out, this would provide a really good connect with the KS3 strategy and with broad ICT qualifications at KS4.

The key points of this also tie in with earlier nuggets about powerpoint where good design principles also apply.
