A phone that’s a phone

American mobile phone manufacturer Hop-On has launched a new no-frills GSM handset, which will be available worldwide for just £5.

The pre-paid HOP1800 is billed as the ‘anti iPhone’, with the company stating that the phone does just one thing extremely well: make phone calls.

With Tescos offering a £10  SIM card which includes £20 worth of calls we have a phone setup costing £15 for £20 of airtime. Hummm…
