How do people use the internet? December 4, 2007

The Joint Information Systems Committee (JISC) researches ICT to support education. They have produced a detailed report that shows how different age groups access different features of the internet (bloggs, messenger etc) and even down to which ones are most popular.
To be honest the response for under 18s is fairly poor and doesn’t constitute a representative sample but the questions could be useful if you were thinking of doing this type of survey for yourself
The results are available in a Word document
